More Abby

After lunch I was trying to get Abby to take a nap
Me: Abby, you NEED to take a nap!
Abby: DON'T JUDGE ME!!
lol
Still trying to get her to take a nap
Me: I'm not kidding, you really need to take a nap
Abby: Your watch is telling me that I don't need a nap today.
lol
She's pretty funny and yes, she did eventually take a much needed nap.

During dinner (we were eating chicken)
Abby: Mommy, we don't eat cows. They're gross.
Me: Why are cows gross?
Abby: Because they have bums! EWW Yuck! We don't eat bums.
Me: Actually Abby, we eat cow A LOT and you really like it.
Abby: NO WAY! They are gross! I don't eat cow bums!
Me: (laughing) Yes you do Abby.
Abby: (silence)

A Couple of Pictures

I just had to post these because they make me laugh.

I guess she likes cheese from a can. lol

We wanted Abby to try on my boots but she didn't really want to..... :)

I'm going CRAZY!

Is it just me or this weather enough to make someone have a mental breakdown!!! (oh wait, it did. ) For some reason I have been tired, cranky, ornery, emotional, and the list could just go on and on. (NO I AM NOT PREGNANT AND IT'S NOT PMS!) Friday night I finally had a break down. Do you ever have that feeling you want to cry but you can't because there is no reason to cry, well I finally got my reason and it literally was over spilled milk. lol Friday started out just great but for some reason the kids have been fighting with each other and getting into yelling wars for the past month so by the end of the day I HAVE HAD IT and Friday was no exception. By the time Tyrel got home and we got dinner on the table, the kids were in a bad mood and kept crying and wouldn't cooperate. I got them both milk but in the midst of the yelling and crying, I forgot to put the lid back on when I put it in the fridge so when Abby wanted more milk and Tyrel got it for her, he didn't notice the missing lid and quite a bit spilled on the floor. Him being aggravated by all the crying and yelling caused him to be annoyed with me and that's when I broke down. I just went in my room and cried. I hate crying but it felt good although I didn't really talk to Tyrel the rest of the night. :) Saturday we got to spend the day in West Yellowstone at the Snow Expo and that was fun but the kids were still grumpy. Tyrel was kind enough that evening to watch them and some of our friends kids (or as he put it, "let Disney babysit them") so I could go to Jr. Miss. Although it was hot and stuffy in there, it sure was nice to get a break! Sunday began AWFUL. For one, we didn't know the time changed (i know, i know) but luckily I set my phone alarm and was really confused when it asked my if I wanted to change the time. For two, I woke up with swollen lips and it's my month to conduct in Relief Society. Well, I wasn't about to stand in front of people and try and talk with swollen lips and I also have a canker sore on my tongue. Needless to say, Jaiden and I skipped church. It did get better though because it was such a nice day outside. We took the kids outside and let them play which I think is just what they needed and what I needed! I can't wait for warmer weather even though it means more work for Tyrel. I'm going insane being stuck inside and the kids are too! Here are some pictures from Sunday.

Cabin

Last weekend we were able to go to Wilcox's cabin in Island Park with some friends. We had some fun times and the kids loved it as usual. I don't know what it is about that cabin but I always leave there in such a good mood. Maybe it's because while I'm there I can leave all my worries and troubles behind or maybe it's just being there with family and friends, telling stories, letting the kids play and run around all they want. Anyway, we had fun. :) (alright, my worries aren't totally left behind. I worry about those 'devil chairs' attacking the kids!!)
Here's a few pics.

This picture is my favorite. A couple of our friends have 120 snowmobiles and were kind enough to bring them for the kids to play on. Abby was too scared to ride it alone but Suri sure wasn't! Abby would only ride with Suri or another little kid. lol

I couldn't get Tyrel and Jaiden to look at the camera at the same time!

More Anti-Santa from Abby

Scene: Christmas Eve, Abby's Aunt Wendy is asking her about Santa Claus

(I don't remember exact words)
Wendy: Abby, is Santa going to bring you presents?
Abby: No, I'm scared of Santa. I will like him when I'm older like Ellie. (Abby's cousin who is 8 months older)
Wendy: How will you get presents then?
Abby: Order them.

hmmm, I didn't think I ordered THAT much on the internet. :-)

Santa Threat

Scene: Jaiden is innocently walking and Abby comes up behind her to push her. Jaiden falls and I see it all.

Me: ABBY! Why did you do that?!
Abby: I don't know
Me: Fine, Santa IS coming tonight
Abby: (wails) NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Abby is afraid of Santa Claus. lol
